Maybell's life is ruined by magic, and she ain't magical. At least, she doesn't do magic. Her sister does. And that is cool and fine, but not in the real world, and not when her sister is the way she is, and not when Maybell already has enough problems, just being a little girl growing up on a farm in a farm town called Hickory Hollow, and not when... this whole magic thing is probably going to end the world.
